DOMiDDie Geschichten von in Deutschland eingewanderten Menschen stehen im Mittelpunkt des Dokumentationszentrums und Museums über die Migration in Deutschland (
DOMiD). Die Führung im Rahmen des diesjährigen
Cologne Pride gibt einen Blick hinter die Kulissen des Archivs, das 1990 von Migrant*innen gegründet wurde. Mittlerweile kann DOMiD die vielfältigste Sammlung zur Migration in Deutschland vorzeigen. Die sonst verschlossenen Depoträume werden geöffnet und ein häufig ausgeblendet...es Kapitel deutscher Geschichte erzählt. Im Anschluss ist Raum für Diskussion, z.B. über das geplante Migrationsmuseum sowie über LSBTIQ spezifische Migrationsgeschichte. Eine Kooperation mit

The stories of people who immigrated to Germany are the focus of the Documentation Centre and museum about migration in Germany (
DOMiD). The guided tour as part of this year's ColognePride gives a look behind the scenes of the archive, which was founded in 1990 by migrants. In the meantime DOMiD can show the most diverse collection on migration in Germany. The otherwise locked depot rooms are opened and a frequently hidden chapter of German history is told. There is then room for discussion, e.g. about the planned migration museum and LGBTIQ-specific migration history.
