I'd like to make a separate account to post photography, in a desperate attempt to emulate circles (why can't you subscribe to / filter by a user+tag combination?).

What is the federation best practice for photography? Pixelfed? A dedicated mastodon instance like https://photog.social?

Looking for: EXIF parsing & display, useful tag system, browseable & discoverable.
