THE GOOD FOOD🇬🇧 Do you know the Food Policy Council of Cologne and the surrounding area? It aims to bring discussions related to food policies back to the people and to cooperate with different groups to understand local production, needs and resources. On their website, they explain: "We want to promote active dialogue between politics, administration, producers, distributors and consumers in order to strengthen the structures of a long-term and sustainable regional food supply".
As an i...ndependent civil organization, the council is composed mainly of volunteers from politics, business and civil society, allowing it to connect and integrate different topics. It is open to anyone and can run as a forum to connect people and learn from other experiences. "We need all good initiatives and people to create a common way to speak with one voice, to make it stronger. It can only be possible if we exchange and work together!", states FPC coordinator Florian Sander.

🇩🇪 Kennt ihr den Ernährungsrat für Köln und Umgebung? Die Initiative hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, Diskussionen rund um die Lebensmittelpolitik auf die kommunale Ebene zu bringen und mit verschiedenen Gruppen zusammenzuarbeiten, um regionale Produktion, lokale Ressourcen und damit verbundene Bedürfnisse zu verstehen. Auf der Website des Ernährungsrats heißt es: "Wir wollen den aktiven Dialog zwischen Politik, Verwaltung, Produzenten, Händlern und Verbrauchern fördern, um die Strukturen einer langfristigen und nachhaltigen regionalen Lebensmittelversorgung zu stärken".
Der Ernährungsrat ist eine unabhängige zivilgesellschaftliche Organisation und setzt sich hauptsächlich aus Freiwilligen aus Politik, Wirtschaft und Zivilgesellschaft zusammen. So verbindet er verschiedene Fachbereiche und Interessen. (Weiter geht’s in den Kommentaren!👇)
