if we edit an item in your /channel we land at /editpost/

and after saving the edits we are redirected to the /hq

Why ?

It would be bette to go back to the /channel page - don´t you think so as well?

Depends. Either one is useful, depending on what you are doing next.

Most people spend their time on HQ, so it makes sense to redirect there. But it also would be nice to have a link on HQ that takes you back to your channel, instead of hunting for it in the menu.

When dealing with posts, HQ, your channel, and your stream are probably the most used pages. Quick links between those and your connections them would be nice. Maybe we should add links for those on HQ for newer members who don't know where everything is just yet.

It should be noted that all of these could be added to the top navigation by pinning them in the apps page.

@𝓒𝓱𝓻𝓲𝓼 well... The idea is to bring you back to the message you edited. We can currently not do that when you start editing in the channel or network stream hence we redirect to /hq/edited_message_id. We could also bring you back to channel/name?mid=edited_message_id which is also a single thread view just like /hq. This might change in the future but it will take some work to get there...

the best would be to bring us back to the message we edited in the /channel timeline itself - but this seems not to be possible :-(
