Get the BlockBasic-One Theme working

img-placeholder-1.svg

The theme is intended for all those Hubzilla Lovers who write or quote longer texts from time to time and want to present them nicely on the web in a fixed location. In my first attempt, I kept the design close to the WriteFriley standard look. With "Blogbasic One" you can now present texts in a similar way to WriteFriley with the major difference that with the HZ substructure, comments and, in addition to the ATOM feed, following in the Fediverse also works in BOTH directions... further HZ components and the HZ access and authorization system are added on top as required.

The possible combination with other channels under one account makes HZ an option where you have all under one hut.

"Blogbasic One" is all about the look of the HomePage, clarity and reduction... who is blogging results from the "about" page which could be linked to the HZ /profile/ page. All modules that are public have been redesigned... the inner views /hq and /netwerk will stay with the Redbasic design for now. Later maybe also new ones here...

"Blogbasic One" works as an overwirte theme in combination with Redbasic.

DEMO

of the theme runs under:

Since the theme is still Beta you can just test it if you have an account on

So that you can test the theme for yourself and all components are freshly loaded, it is best to create a new channel under your account at https://im.allmendenetz.de/manage

01-creat-channel.png

Then go to

https://im.allmendenetz.de/settings/display

Display Settings > Theme Settings

and select in the activated Redbasic Theme...

... whether Dark- or Light- Mode should be default. If "Show advanced settings" is activated, you could also define the link colors... It is better not to use other theme settings for now.

Then go to

Display Settings > Theme Settings

and select and activate the new theme with the name "Blogbasic One".

Done !

To use a header menu and other Webpages in the Blog you have to install some other apps. For testing you can use some demo pages

Go to
https://im.allmendenetz.de/cloud/blogbasic-one
and download the ziped demo pages

https://im.allmendenetz.de/cloud/blogbasic-one/Blockbasic-One_DEMO_Blocks-Pages.zip

05-download-webpages.png

Activate the webpage app https://im.allmendenetz.de/webpages

...and inport the ziped demopages you just downloaded.

06-import-pages.png

Unfortunately, the import does not always work reliably... There should be 7 documents.
