You are probably referring to an addon that we created for one of our sites. It doesn't use the webpages feature at all. The addon registers a URL with Hubzilla and then uses a PDL to define the layout and a TPL to serve the HTML.

Add-ons like this can get complicated. I'll see if I can come up with a simplified example.

But we're currently hard coding the HTML in the addon instead of making it editable in the user interface.

i gave it a try... somehow it does not work for me...
can´t even activate the addon :-(
