@Hubzilla Support Forum maybe do not use bbcode and markdown? They are not very compatible with eachother. It is either/or...

if markdown is not activated under /settings/editor all works finde yes but it is nice to have markdown for other things - so this is not an option for me.

did just some more testing

[ list] dose work if we type * or "•" (& #8226; ) instead of [ *]at the beginning of list items

like in this testlist:
