#Hubzilla help needed.

How can i entirely block boosts/repeated posts of others?
(Just that without side effects)
All at once or just for single users, both versions welcome.

And I still want to read their original posts.

That is what @Hans is suggesting:

The following is hiding reshares for the user you can filter. Simply use other body or verb content to filter that.

?body ~= [/share]

?verb == http://activitystrea.ms/schema/1.0/share

@_jayrope :hubzilla: See my wiki and especially the filtering part. There are two lines there that would be needed to set in the user filter to stop forwards. You might need /RT/ too there to make sure nobody is forwarding tweets

Was genau muß ich an

?body ~= [/share]
(== if body != share ???)

verändern, um die/alle Boosts eines Users zu unterdrücken, wenn ich die Zeile in den Content Filter des/der Betreffenden hineinkopiere?

Ich rate, daß ich ?body ersetzen soll, doch durch was genau? Durch z.B. ?Username der Adresse username@sozialsei.te ?
(Das funktioniert hier nicht.)

Falls Ihr die Muße habt, dann tut einfach so, als wenn ich überhaupt keine Technikaffinität habe (was teilweise stimmt.)
Ich komme frisch von 2 1/2 Jahren auf Mastodon (irgendwo muß man ja anfangen),
bin begeistert von #Hubzilla,

und nur etwas konsterniert, daß kaum jemand hier bei Erklärungen ohne Programmzeilen auskommt.
-> Nicht auskommen kann, weil einige bekannte & einfache UI-Element hier nicht direkt vorhanden sind.

Anschließend möchte ich gern versuchen, dies so zu vereinfachen, daß auch völlig Nicht-Technikaffine eine Chance haben, das Hubuniversum zu managen.

Sollen wir?

I had a Dutch grandfather, who lived in Berlin. He spoke six languages - and i never learned much. So English remains ours to use.

?body ~= [/share] has no effect here.

/RT/ means EXACTLY "RT" i suppose, not blocking aRTwork or artwork or RT @ i guess?

The other options are familiar to me. I wish we had a boost blocking add-on or ven core functionality like this. It would be so much easier for converts from Mastodon (like me)
I've a feature request thread on https://framagit.org/hubzilla/core//issues/1741 - if you'd engage or want to forward this. Zot answered, but left it in the dark if or what or when sthg. might be planned.
