@Ralf actually we can't be sure that it will be that wonderful but we have the chance to find a galaxy which seams right for us and build this planet we are hoping for - the hope may be to finde a home and meet all this creates we are dreaming of and living an exciting live in respect for each other.

It is up to us what it will be at the end... not to marc, jack, elon & co

Since it is federated and we can build our little part of it, at least our part can be wonderful. And we get to choose who we interact with in the rest of the fediverse. It's like a big city. We don't have to go to the undesirable parts of town if we don't need to.

It is only dangerous if you put your head in the sand and deny reality, or you adopt destructive ideas of the past.

And the reality is, in the past, some things were better, and some things were worse, and some things come down to personal preference.

For example, one thing that was more dominant in the past that I think we should bring back are forum communities, except this time federated. So you can look to the past to inspire the future, in some cases.
