When we first federated events over ActivityPub some years ago there was nobody doing it but us. I just assumed events and event attendance would be widely supported across the fediverse in 2023 - especially the elephant in the room. Just looked again, and boy was I surprised.
I don't understand people that bet on a racehorse without looking to see if it has any legs.
